PUNKFUNK BREAKFEST 2026: YOUNGRUBBI + BRING THE JOINTS + AYEEBEE

On 26 September, YoungRubbi and Bring the Joints take the stage at Musicon in Den Haag. Doors open at 20:00, the concert starts at 20:30 and ends around 23:00.

YoungRubbi is the stage name of rapper, songwriter and producer Ruben Steens from Goeree-Overflakkee. He combines trap and punk beats with Dutch-language lyrics exploring themes like false freedom, capitalism and identity - balanced with humour and self-reflection. He handles everything himself: from the music to the video clips. Live, he performs with a four-piece band.

Bring the Joints is a Dutch live hip-hop band, founded in 2022 by rapper and guitarist Ahih Jaihi and bassist Fretless Jane. Together with a drummer, saxophonist, keyboardist and percussionist, they draw from a broad palette: boom bap, lo-fi hip-hop, trip-hop, roots reggae, dub, psytrance, funk and ambient. Rhythm, groove and improvisation are central to their live set.
