Bring the Joints is a Dutch live hip-hop band founded in 2022 by rapper-guitarist Ahih Jaihi and bassist Fretless Jane. Drawing on boom bap, lo-fi, trip hop and roots reggae, they treat hip-hop as a full live-band format, regularly joined by guest guitarists and a saxophonist. Their debut album 'Wishes of Bliss' was included in the Groninger Museum's 'Hip Hop is' exhibition alongside records by Urban Dance Squad and Run DMC.
Bring the Joints performs on September 26, 2026 at Musicon in The Hague, together with rapper and producer YoungRubbi.
The band released a video clip for the track 'No Monster', recorded at Muziekstudio Jottem in Wormerveer and the A8RNA skatepark in Koog aan de Zaan.
The cover of the debut album 'Wishes of Bliss' was displayed in the exhibition 'Hip Hop is' at the Groninger Museum, alongside vinyl records by Urban Dance Squad, Extince and Run DMC.
Bring the Joints was selected for Battle of the Bands Breda 2026, a band competition where the winner receives a performance at the Brand Parkies Festival.
The band performed during Vurige Tongen 2025 on the Kabouterhuys stage in Ruigoord.
