Grupo La Salsa Alta performs live at Musicon's weekly Latin Night Live - Thursday evening for merengue, salsa, bachata and kizomba. The band brings Latin American music with a jazz influence: a solid salsa foundation enhanced with refined jazz elements. The group consists of musicians from Curaçao, Canada, Aruba and the Netherlands, who found each other at Jazzcafé Alto in Amsterdam, where they led the Salsa Jamsessions ("Descargas") for two seasons.
