Drugsmonologen - Raymi Sambo Maakt

One in ten Dutch adults uses drugs. Perhaps your neighbour, your colleague, your friend - or yourself.

In Drugsmonologen, they get a voice: the neighbour who arrives fresh at work every Monday, the friend who is always there for everyone, the colleague who never complains. Real stories, without judgment. The performance touches on what many feel but few say aloud: postponing exhaustion, seeking temptation, the temporary high as an escape from the noise of everyday life.

Drugsmonologen is the third production by Raymi Sambo Maakt, following Gendermonologen and Seksmonologen. In 2028, Rechtbankmonologen will follow. Raymi Sambo Maakt creates performances, podcasts, films and talk shows rooted in intercultural and queer society, addressing current topics with universal themes.
