DUIK - Jansen and de Boer

Duik is a visual music theatre performance for children aged 6 and up, created by Jansen and de Boer. At its heart is a question every child knows: do you dare to take the leap when you're standing at the top of the diving board?

Through play, music and puppets, four performers follow multiple storylines simultaneously. They switch costumes and puppets at high speed - an approach that theatre critic Sara van der Kooi (Theaterkrant) described as "a light, dynamic theatrical reality with a message". After the show, all children receive a glass of juice and popcorn.
