About

Sebastiaan van Empel is a nature guide and the founder of Wildwise, based in Ugchelen on the Veluwe. He returned to the area he loved as a child and now lives in a forester's house in the former State Wildlife Reserve at the heart of the Veluwe. He leads relaxed wildlife walks through the area, taking guests along narrow forest paths, open heathlands, and drifting sands in search of red deer, wild boar, wolves, and more.
