Project Man - Lecture & Song Cycle

In Project Man, visual artist Othilia Verdurmen explores masculine identity and the human body as landscape. The work resulted in five sculptures, each with its own character - from the adventurous Odysseus to the tender Copper Man. Singer and composer Ilse van de Kasteelen translated these figures into five musical portraits; texts will be available during the concert.

The evening begins at 20:00 with an introduction by Othilia, featuring illustrations and photographs about the creative process behind the project. At 20:30, the song cycle is performed by Ilse van de Kasteelen (vocals and compositions), Viola de Hoog (cello) and Janine Abbas (flute).
