RY X is the stage name of Australian singer-songwriter and producer Ry Cuming, born in Angourie, New South Wales, and now based in Los Angeles. He broke through internationally with his debut album 'Dawn' (2016), building a following around his ethereal falsetto and a sound that moves between indie-folk, electronic pop and atmospheric ambient. Beyond his solo work he has written and produced for artists including Drake, Diplo and John Legend, collaborated with the LA Philharmonic and London Philharmonic, and composed for Nederlands Dans Theater and the Gothenburg Opera. He is a Grammy-nominated artist with over a billion streams to his name.
