About

Moor Mother is the stage name of American musician, poet and visual artist Camae Ayewa. Her work cuts across electronic music, free jazz, noise and spoken word, and is rooted in Black Quantum Futurism - a framework she developed with Rasheedah Phillips. She has released numerous albums and collaborated with artists including Matana Roberts and Billy Woods.
