Saul Williams | Leap Life Tour

Saul Williams has spent nearly three decades refusing to be confined to a single category - poet, musician, actor, filmmaker. On 2 April, he brings his new album Leap Life to BIRD.

Leap Life is his first solo album in seven years. On it, Williams moves between spoken word, jazz, hip-hop and ambient, with sounds that are sometimes raw, sometimes meditative, but always on his own frequency. Not a genre exercise: the music emerges from rhythm, voice and intuition.

If you know him from SLAM, Neptune Frost, his earlier albums or his recent role in Sinners, you know he doesn't sit still. Expect a live show where words become music and music becomes movement.
