Maddie Zahm (born 1998 in Boise, Idaho) is an LA-based singer-songwriter who broke through with the 2022 TikTok phenomenon 'Fat Funny Friend', an unflinching anthem about body image and self-worth. Her debut album Now That I've Been Honest (2023) drew praise from NPR, Rolling Stone and Billboard, cementing her reputation for confessional songwriting about queerness, religious deconstruction and self-acceptance.
