About

Little Mazarn is the project of Austin, Texas-based songwriter and vocalist Lindsey Verrill and singing saw player Jeff Johnston, now rounded out as a trio with multi-instrumentalist Carolina Chauffe, who joined in 2019. Their music draws on primitive folk, Appalachian balladry and modern minimalism, built around Verrill's banjo and voice and Johnston's bowed saw. Both Verrill and Johnston have collaborated with artists including Bill Callahan, Lomelda and Dana Falconberry.
