Jan-Willem van Prooijen is a Dutch social psychologist at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, specialising in conspiracy theories, radicalisation and moral judgment. He is the author of 'The Psychology of Conspiracy Theories' and studies how conspiratorial thinking fuels polarisation and, in some cases, political violence.
