About

Hällas is a Swedish progressive rock quintet from Gothenburg, founded in 2011. The band - Tommy Alexandersson (vocals, bass), Rickard Swahn and Marcus Petersson (guitars), Nicklas Malmqvist (keyboards) and Kasper Eriksson (drums) - coined the term 'adventure rock' for their blend of 1970s hard rock, psychedelia and fantasy-themed concept albums. Their 2017 debut Excerpts from a Future Past brought them international attention; Conundrum (2020) earned a Swedish Grammy nomination, and Panorama (2026), released on their own Äventyr Records, is their most ambitious work to date.

Hällas announced an extensive European autumn tour with Earth Tongue as support, including three shows in the Netherlands (The Hague, Nijmegen, Tilburg) and a series of Spanish dates as support for Opeth.

Panorama, the fourth studio album by Hällas, was released on 30 January 2026 via their own label Äventyr Records and was positively received by the international press.

Prog Magazine praised Panorama as a 'mesmerising modern masterpiece' and stated that the band would probably have become superstars in the years 1972-1975.

Hällas announced a European tour for February and March 2026 in support of Panorama, including a performance at De Helling in Utrecht on 15 March.
