GRIIS is a Dutch black metal band whose members have previously played in Burial Remains, God Dethroned, Silver Knife, Onhou, Neroth and Deadspeak. The band pairs fast tremolo riffs with atmospheric passages and unrelenting harsh vocals, drawing comparisons to Mayhem and Marduk. Despite being a new name, the collective experience behind GRIIS runs deep in the Dutch extreme metal underground.
The GRIIS concert at Vera (Groningen), originally scheduled for June 26, 2026, was moved to August 29, 2026.
