Lost in Kyiv combines cinematic post-rock roots with abrasive guitars and the intensity of post-metal. The result is music that confronts rather than observes the world from a distance.

In 2026, the band returns with We're All Going to Be Fine (Pelagic Records, 19 June), their fifth studio album. The release also marks a name change: the French quartet officially continues as Lost in Kyiv instead of Lost in Kiev. With a renewed line-up, the band sounds heavier and sharper than before.

Where earlier albums centred on social themes, We're All Going to Be Fine focuses on personal feelings - hope, uncertainty, and the distance between people in modern life. The new songs are more direct and emotional than anything the band has released before.
