Erica Dawn Lyle is an American writer, experimental musician and cultural activist based in New York and Los Angeles. She toured as guitarist with Bikini Kill and has released solo collaborations with Kim Gordon, The Raincoats and Kathleen Hanna, among others. With drummer Marshall Trammell she forms the free jazz and activism duo MYKAWARA. She also writes for publications including Artforum and Frieze, and authored the book Streetopia (2015).
