Reona & Grgur Savić
Reona & Grgur Savić is a newly formed duo that approaches sound through body, object, voice and gesture, working entirely through improvisation. Tokyo-based Reona uses tap dance as a sonic instrument: through the contact of tap shoes with wooden boards, metal plates, chains, steel bowls, plastic bags and speakers, she builds rhythmic textures and raw sound surfaces. Berlin-based Grgur Savić works at the intersection of sound, visual art and technology - he deconstructs and prepares instruments, works with graphic scores and transforms found materials into hybrid sound-text structures.
