Splendor can only be the independent free space it is thanks to the members who support it. In return, all Splendor musicians give one free concert each year for this group. Together with many other events, this means members can attend over 50 concerts per year for free for € 9.99 per month (or € 4.99 for low-income earners and students), and receive discounts on all other concerts.

This membership model allows Splendor to operate without a central programmer, to book last-minute concerts, to have no backstage - artists and audiences constantly mix - and to offer programmes that are considered too risky elsewhere. Yet Splendor guarantees high quality, with the top of the Dutch music scene as regular guests.
