Baby Keem (born Hykeem Jamaal Carter Jr. in Las Vegas, raised in Carson, California) is an American rapper and self-producing artist who broke through with his 2019 mixtape 'Die For My Bitch'. His debut album 'The Melodic Blue' (2021), made in close collaboration with cousin Kendrick Lamar, earned him a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for 'Family Ties' in 2022 - the first of his career.
