Young Thug, the stage name of Jeffery Lamar Williams (Atlanta, 1991), is an American rapper known for his melodic vocal style and unconventional flow. He co-founded the Atlanta label YSL Records and shaped a generation of trap artists. After spending over two years in pretrial detention in the YSL RICO case, he pleaded guilty in October 2024 and was released on probation; his comeback album UY Scuti followed in September 2025.

UY Scuti debuted at number 6 on the Billboard 200 with 52,000 album-equivalent units and 54.3 million streams in the first week - his ninth top 10 album.
Young Thug performed on June 22, 2025 at the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash festival in Bridgeview, Illinois - his first live performance after his release.
In April 2025, a court request to revoke his probation was denied by the judge, who warned him about his use of social media.
On October 31, 2024, Young Thug pleaded guilty in the YSL RICO case and was released; the judge sentenced him to the time already served plus 15 years probation.
