Elmiene's voice is unmistakable. He discovered that performing and poetry could come together into a real career when his cover videos took off on social media.

Following 'Marking My Time' - featuring contributions from BADBADNOTGOOD, DJ Dahi, James Vincent McMorrow and Courage - came 'Anyway I Can', an emotional album with tracks like 'Crystal Tears', 'Sweetness' and 'Light Work'. Elmiene combines the sounds of classic R&B with the directness of modern soul, and the result feels both cinematic and personal.
