About

Arrested Development is an Atlanta hip-hop group founded in 1988 by frontman Speech (Todd Thomas) and DJ Headliner. Their 1992 debut *3 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days in the Life of...* produced the hits "Tennessee" and "People Everyday", earning two Grammy Awards and establishing them as pioneers of socially conscious rap. The group performs with a full live band and has continued releasing music steadily since reuniting in 2000, with "Tennessee" recognised among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.
