Xzibit (born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, September 18, 1974, in Detroit) is an American rapper who built his reputation on hard-hitting West Coast hip-hop and close collaborations with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. He broke through commercially with 'Restless' (2000) and 'Man vs. Machine' (2002), the latter peaking at number three on the Billboard 200. Beyond music, he became widely known as the host of MTV's car makeover show 'Pimp My Ride'. In May 2025 he released 'Kingmaker', his first studio album in thirteen years.
