Andy Platts is a British singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as one half of the British-American duo Young Gun Silver Fox alongside multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee. Together they craft music rooted in the West Coast AOR and yacht rock of the 1970s - blending soul, funk and soft pop. Before Young Gun Silver Fox, Platts had already built a reputation as frontman and co-founder of British soul outfit Mamas Gun, and as a songwriter with credits alongside the likes of Rod Temperton and Brian Jackson.
Young Gun Silver Fox performed on 13 January 2026 at Paradiso Amsterdam, their fifth show in the Grote Zaal, on the occasion of the release of the live album Live From The Troubadour & Paradiso.
