Soyuz

On Monday, 5 October 2026, SOYUZ performs live at BIRD Rotterdam. The collective, founded by Alex Chumak and Mikita Arlou, originally from Minsk and now based across cities including Warsaw.

With the album Force of the Wind, SOYUZ broke through internationally, supported by KEXP, BBC Radio 6 and Worldwide FM. On the follow-up KROK - recorded in São Paulo, Stockholm and Warsaw - they weave folk ballads and jazz influences into layered compositions in multiple languages, exploring themes of movement and identity. The band has played Primavera Sound and ESNS, performed in sold-out venues across Europe including Paradiso and London's Jazz Cafe, and recorded a session at BBC Maida Vale for Gilles Peterson.
