Anders Danielsen Lie (Oslo, 1979) is a Norwegian actor, musician and practising GP who has built a parallel career in film without giving up medicine. He is best known as the recurring lead of Joachim Trier's Oslo trilogy - Reprise (2006), Oslo, August 31st (2011) and The Worst Person in the World (2021) - and in 2021 brought two films to the Cannes main competition simultaneously. His performance in The Worst Person in the World earned him the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor and Norway's Amanda Award. In 2026 he appears in the Netflix thriller series Jo Nesbø's Detective Hole and takes the title role of jazz pianist Bill Evans in Everybody Digs Bill Evans.
