About the venue

The Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg occupies part of the historic abbey complex, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the Netherlands. Its collection covers Zeeland's history and culture, from Roman finds to modern art. A highlight is the series of sixteenth-century tapestries depicting the Battle of Nieuwpoort.
