About the venue

The Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg is housed in the former abbey of Middelburg, one of the largest medieval monastic complexes in the Netherlands. Its collection covers Zeelandic art, traditional costumes and a set of world-famous sixteenth-century tapestries. The museum also hosts a regular programme of temporary exhibitions on art and regional history.
