Dutch Modularfest 2026
Dutch Modularfest 2026 returns to WORM in Rotterdam. Artists, builders and enthusiasts from across the Netherlands and beyond gather for a full day of modular culture, featuring live performances, workshops, DIY exploration and a market with gear, makers and independent creators.
Music Programme
Titanic Ambient with T. Raumschmiere
T. Raumschmiere - alias Marco Haas, co-founder of the Shitkatapult label - is known for live shows that seamlessly shift between punk, electro, techno, noise and pop. This performance deliberately departs from that: as the title suggests, ambient takes centre stage. Expect the unexpected.
Raaf and Estroe
Raaf weaves rich melodies and sparkling arpeggios from his modular system, creating a layered and cinematic sound. Estroe approaches electronic music subtly and atmospherically, with a keen ear for nuance. Live, her love of improvisation takes centre stage: an intuitive play with sound, texture and timing.
KROON
Bass producers and live performers Hajo Krijger, Kubus and Kypski founded KROON in 2023. The trio built an extensive catalogue of hard, sizzling bass tracks. In June 2025, Hajo Krijger, the musical driving force behind KROON, passed away suddenly at age 29. Kubus and Kypski continue the project under the name KROON Legacy, with Hajo's production legacy as their foundation.
Numbers Station
Numbers Station is a sound designer with a background in visual and performative arts. She works with a hybrid modular system of Doepfer and Serge modules, set up to be as accessible and patch-programmable as possible. Her atonal pieces are based on feedback patching and no input mixing. "The machine and I split the work fifty-fifty" - she builds generative patches that she deliberately pushes over the edge, allowing the system to make its own mistakes.
Alberta Balsam
Rotterdam-based Alberta Balsam combines glitchy rhythms, skittering percussion and broad ambient landscapes.
