About: Thijs Boontjes

With his Dans- en Showorkest, Thijs Boontjes delivers Dutch-language pop that works equally well as dance-floor fuel and bar-room poetry - catchy melodies, Hammond organ, and lyrics just sharp enough to stick. A former keyboardist for Anouk and Douwe Bob, he now fronts his own outfit that has won over crowds at Pinkpop and Zwarte Cross alike.
