Mark Foggo

Mark Foggo has been a fixture in the international ska scene since the early 1980s, growing into a cult figure in the genre. Originally from Liverpool, he started playing music at fourteen and eventually made his way to the Netherlands via London's pub circuit.

There he founded Mark Foggo and the Secret Meeting. With his debut album Speeding My Life Away, he broke through in Europe in the early 1980s, followed by Ska Pig (1989) - now a reference point for generations of ska bands. Thirty years later, he honoured that album with Ska Pig Returns.

Today he performs with Mark Foggo's Skasters, calling himself a "Missionary of Ska". Fans of Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners and The Selecter will feel right at home.
