Sor + Louis Pedro

Rapper, producer, composer, pianist and conductor: Sor from Amsterdam defies easy categorization. He moves freely between hip-hop, trap, classical music, R&B and pop, blending them all into a world entirely his own.

His project Bae Doven combined hip-hop with classical music, performed by his own 58-piece (S)ORKest. In 2023 it earned him two Edison Awards and a sold-out show at the Concertgebouw. The year before, he won the TV programme Maestro, proving his musical range extends far beyond beats and bars.

In early 2026, INSOMNIA arrived - a nocturnal trap album featuring heavy 808s, synths and choir parts. The tracks were partly created during his Trial & Error shows, where the audience voted on what would ultimately make the album. The album follows one long night - from 'last night' to 'good morning' - where restlessness, energy and new ideas intertwine.

Despite significant hearing loss, Sor remains active as a producer, composer and performer. Using hearing aids, a SubPac and synths, he has developed his own working method. After performances at Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole and WOO HAH! x Rolling Loud, he takes the stage at Willem Twee Fabriek in 's-Hertogenbosch on Saturday, 9 January.
