Litter Clean-up Walk along the Ziltepad — Stroe – Heidense Kapel, Stroe
Description was written before the event

Join a guided walk along the Ziltepad and pick up litter as you go. The route and rubbish bags are provided.

The Ziltepad is a long-distance walking route that runs from church to church along the Wadden coast. For the Ik Jut campaign, we are organizing three walks along this route, combining the experience with litter collection.

This walk starts and ends at the historic Heidense Kapel in Stroe and takes you past churches, dykes and vistas across Wieringen. The circular route is 15.5 kilometers long and lets you experience the peace and space of the Wadden area in a different way. By collecting litter along the way, you contribute directly to a cleaner nature.

The organizers provide rubbish bags, the route and coffee or tea on arrival. Bring your own lunch and plenty to drink, and wear comfortable walking clothes in layers: along the Wadden coast the weather can change within a single day, so be prepared for wind and changing conditions.

End time depends on the group's walking pace. A voluntary contribution is requested for this walk. Questions? Email ruth.tervoort@frysketsjerken.nl.
