Dog Person brings nostalgia without dwelling on it: the band puts you right in the middle of the action.

The band formed in the summer of 2023 and mixes pop-punk, hardcore and emo from the early 2000s into a sound that feels familiar yet stays fresh. Not a revival for revival's sake, but their own take on a genre that never really disappeared.

With debut single 'Wasting Time' (summer 2025), Dog Person immediately set a clear direction: raw and direct, no frills. This winter comes the EP, recorded with the same energy. After that, the band hits the road with names from the Dutch heavy scene - the kind of tour where you build a fanbase show by show.

On 23 January 2027, Dog Person takes the stage at Willem Twee Fabriek in 's-Hertogenbosch. Expect no polite distance between band and audience, but music that demands you sing along.
