Orange Skyline

Orange Skyline from Groningen released the album 'Orange Skyline' in 2022 and 'Dreams To Keep' in 2026, and previously opened for acts including Fatal Flowers and Duran Duran. Now the band is touring the country in a small ensemble with their finest songs and the stories behind them.

For brothers Stefan and Niels van der Wielen, this is a temporary venture, but one with ambition. Their repertoire works well with an acoustic approach, as heard in 'Poete Maudit', a track that performs well on Spotify. The band shows a different side of themselves and plays new material too. Singer Stefan knows how to quiet a busy bar with his storytelling, and together with the songs themselves, that creates an intimate evening.

Niels: "The beauty of playing these songs acoustically is that you can't hide behind anything anymore. We want to show how songs came about and what remains when you strip everything away except the song itself."

Stefan: "These shows aren't about playing smaller, but about getting closer."
