Sail to Bird Island

Bird Island lies in the middle of the Zwarte Meer and is a place where birds can be found on the water year-round. Natuurmonumenten organizes excursions to this island, where dozens of bird species breed, butterflies fly, and even deer live.

Once you arrive, you walk to the bird-watching hut.
