Cinekid: The Big Dream

Andrea suffers from such severe stage fright that she wraps herself in a cape during the school musical to hide. The cape turns out to be a passage to a floating castle, where a bird, a cat, and a robot welcome her. In this fantasy world she feels so at ease that she doesn't want to leave - but the audience is waiting, and Andrea must choose between safety and courage.

The film is compared to Inside Out and was made by filmmakers who won prizes at previous Cinekid editions. The programme lasts 45 minutes and includes the main film plus two matching short films. Themes: stage fright, fantasy and magic. Suitable for ages 5+.

Afterwards you can join the workshop "Look & Make Your Own Fantasy World" at the Goes Library. This is part of the holiday programme of Goes Library and Podium 't Beest, with a children's film in the morning and a creative workshop in the afternoon.
