Sweelinck Academy Students

Young classical musicians from the Sweelinck Academy - the national training programme for gifted young classical talent at the Amsterdam Conservatoire - perform a concert at Theater De Liefde in Haarlem.

The Sweelinck Academy hosts 60 classical musicians aged 8 to 18. They follow an intensive programme that includes their main instrument, chamber music, choir singing, solfège, harmony, analysis and general music theory. A team of specialized teachers provides individual lessons at a high level.

The study programme aims to develop students into musicians who fully master the language of music.
