Ian Siegal

Ian Siegal has built an impressive career as a blues musician over more than twenty-five years. His mission has remained unchanged: write songs that reflect the truth and deliver performances that touch people deeply.

Classic Rock calls him 'a national treasure', MOJO Magazine describes him as 'the cleverest songwriter and most magnetic blues performer in the United Kingdom', and America's leading blues magazine praises his 'enormous talent'. His trophy cabinet includes two UK Blues Awards, ten British Blues Awards, four European Blues Awards and two Mojo Blues Album of the Year awards. He has also received three nominations for the American Blues Music Awards over the past decade - a rare achievement for a non-American artist.

Siegal has performed in more than fifty countries and shared the stage with, among others, the 92-year-old Pinetop Perkins and other surviving members of Muddy Waters' band, during a performance at the Jazz Café in London. At a festival in Norway, post-war blues legends spontaneously shared the stage with him, resulting in an hour-long set that left a lasting impression on those present.

Siegal is currently working on recordings of a new album in New Orleans.
