English brothers Finn and Charlie run away early when their parents split up - they're determined to avoid being separated at all costs. Their destination: the west coast of Ireland, where their eccentric grandfather lives.

Along the way, they rely on their own charm and resourcefulness, and on the kindness of strangers. The most important of these is Kait, a free-spirited street musician who has her own things to escape from.
