Sons of the Culture Clash rejects categories in favour of collisions - between styles, generations, analogue chaos and digital nervous systems.

With Rudeboy and DJ DNA in the band, it would be easy to look back, but that's not what this is about. After more than a hundred shows under the Rudeboy Plays Urban Dance Squad banner - from Hellfest and Pukkelpop to legendary venues across Europe - the band decided to break new ground. Sons of the Culture Clash is the result: a new formation with new songs and a renewed commitment to musical disobedience.

The ingredients may sound familiar, but the result does not. Grooves that bounce and bite, guitars with a short fuse, beats that ignore the rulebook. New songs take centre stage, but a number of Urban Dance Squad classics refuse to retire gracefully and remain part of the set.

Rock, hip-hop, funk and electronics collide here without permission - until the music suddenly takes a sharp turn towards a place you never saw coming.
