Appelpop

Appelpop was for many years the Netherlands' largest free multi-day music festival. Every year in the second weekend of September, the Waalkade in Tiel becomes the setting for this two-day event, featuring a broad line-up of well-known Dutch pop, rock and hip-hop acts alongside emerging talent.

From 2026 onwards, Appelpop charges admission for the first time due to rising costs. The festival positions itself as the most fun and most affordable festival in the Netherlands.
