Raised in a musical family in Los Angeles, Judith Hill went from in-demand backing vocalist for Michael Jackson and Prince to a Grammy-winning solo artist in her own right. Her fifth album Letters from a Black Widow (2024), which she wrote, produced and largely performed herself, stands as the most personal statement of her career so far.
