Feelin' Alright 2 - Matthijs van Nieuwkerk & Sven Hammond Bigband

Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and the Sven Hammond Big Band bring Feelin' Alright 2 to Openluchttheater Valkenburg on Saturday, 29 August 2026. The open-air theatre sits in a quarry beneath Valkenburg castle, where natural limestone walls form the backdrop and create distinctive acoustics. This is one of only two Dutch dates on the tour - after Valkenburg, the band performs again on 12 September in Heeswijk-Dinter. The programme features jazz, soul and groove interspersed with storytelling, with rotating guest artists ensuring each evening is unique.
