Big Rivers Presents: Scarlet Rose

On Friday, October 9, Big Rivers presents the band Scarlet Rose live at Muziekpodium DJS in Dordrecht. Scarlet Rose is an unconventional indie pop band from the Land van Maas en Waal, with a sound that blends rock-'n-roll, Latin American rhythms and African melodies - think of a musical cross between Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club and Paul Simon.

The band made their live debut at the Cavern Club in Liverpool during the International Pop Overthrow Festival. Since then they have played at Oerol, De Parade, Big Rivers, the Ghent Festivities and the German Norden Festival, appeared on Qmusic, released their first EP and toured through the Netherlands, Germany and England. In 2023 they provided the official aftershow for The Kooks at AFAS Live.

With more than 50 shows under their belt, Scarlet Rose is known for their energy and infectious grooves.
