FRIDAY is the project of Koen and Quinten, friends who started making music together after long workdays. Those early years brought two Top Songs on NPO Radio 2, more than 15 million streams and sold-out shows - but also the feeling that the freedom they started for had slipped away.

On their third album, they settle accounts with that. The songs are darker and rawer than earlier work: they explore sleepless nights, the weight of daily life and the question of what you're really running from - the rat race, the silence between friends, dreams that linger.
