Douwe Bob in Openluchttheater Bosspot

Douwe Bob Posthuma broke through in 2012 as winner of The Best Singer-Songwriter of the Netherlands. With 'Slow Down' at the Eurovision Song Contest, he established himself as one of the country's most recognizable voices. In 2024 he was the most-played Dutch artist on radio, and between 2023 and 2025 he scored six Top 40 hits. He toured sold-out clubs, major festivals and theatres, and closed 2025 with The Story Of Country at the Concertgebouw - a show that sold out within three hours.

In April 2026 his seventh studio album will be released, which he will perform at Openluchttheater Bosspot. He is also releasing his first cookbook soon: VUUR.

From 18:00 onwards there will be food trucks at the Openluchttheater, so you can eat before the concert. The menu can be found on the website.

For each concert a limited number of wheelchair spaces are available via a 'Wheelchair Ticket Openluchttheater'. An accompanying person needs a separate 'Pre-sale Ticket'. Physical tickets are available at Velvet Music Amersfoort.
