John Coffey

John Coffey needs no introduction. For over twenty years, the Utrecht hardcore legends have been a fixture in the Dutch punk scene, delivering raw live shows and a fierce blend of hardcore and rock 'n' roll in the vein of Refused. They've played Lowlands, Pinkpop (the famous beer-cup moment), Sziget, and Zwarte Cross - not bad for a Dutch hardcore band.

In 2016 the band went on hold. After six years of silence, they returned as if they'd never left, with their biggest headline show ever at AFAS Live as a highlight. Now a new chapter awaits: on 9 October they're coming home to shake up De Helling.

Support: Eyesores

Utrecht trio Eyesores formed in 2023 and quickly made waves in the Dutch underground punk scene. Their debut EP Wrong Place, Worst Time (2025) had barely dropped when the accompanying release tour sold out - a tour where they played with The Exploited and took the opening slot at Zwarte Cross Festival. On 10 April 2026 their debut album They Want To See You Fall came out, and the band has since been selected for Popronde 2026.
