About

John Coffey is a punk rock and post-hardcore band from Utrecht, Netherlands, founded around 2002, known for ferocious live shows and socially engaged lyrics. Albums like 'Bright Companions' (2012) and 'The Great News' (2014) earned them a loyal European following and slots at major festivals including Pinkpop, Graspop and Wacken. After disbanding in 2016, the band returned in 2022 and has since signed to Long Branch Records, with a new album due in October 2025.
